What Should Be Done

The heart was on its own,
Gently managing the business of one person,
Having a single role to play,
To pump blood to the body.


Until when an extraordinary being came around,
Gorgeous, unique, handsome and brilliant,
With all other good qualities that can be given to a man,
And stylishly entered into the heart.


The heart's responsibility was split into two,
From managing the business of one person,
To managing the business of two persons,
With optimum care and love.


For years they both loved each other intimately,
Not minding the circumstances around them,
Settling and overcoming unnecessary lovers' disputes,
And loving each other the more.


Later one,silence crept in,
Layer on,coldness crept in,
Could it be distance?
Could it be lack of communication?


Could it be lack of attention?
What's going on?
Even without distance and lack of communication
Can love grow cold?


And with the love growing cold,
Definitely hearts begin to shatter,
Doubt begins to creep in
Will our dreams we share together ever be achieved?


Can we even end up together?
Can it work out with us?
Can we still be the same as we were?
