dread of the night
fear of the day
your rule alone is right
unknown is your domain
your ruling sign is X
equations and formulas
are your wicked gospel
Y we really don't know
all this great confusion
you seem to revel in
the signs of the algebraic
that you love oh so dearly
are to us very deadly
only if it were love
that keeps us awake all night
that makes our hearts erratic and wildly imagine
that makes souls yearn
but alas
it is the fear of your lovely art
